Our family owned and operated kite store is located on the Central Oregon Coast in the beach-side town of Newport .
We started flying kites as a hobby back in 1980, and turned our hobby into our livelihood, as a retail kite store, in 1991. We now have retail space of over 6500 sq. ft, the largest kite store on the Pacific Coast.
We have some of the best kite flying areas and we test fly everything we sell (tough job but someone has to do it!)
We have a staff of very knowledgeable (somewhat opinionated) kite flyers to help you choose the kite that will fit your needs. We have a large variety of delta kites, diamond kites, dragon kites, box kites, Para foil kites and stunt kites, also known as sport kites or trick kites. There are also some very unique kites, plane kites, bird kites, and critter kites. Delta kites come in several sizes and some even include kite tails or spinners. Dragon Kites are fiberglass framed and easy to fly. Diamond kites are of course an old favorite. Box kites require a little more wind but are very high climbers. Para foil kites are easy to pack and store because they are frameless kites. Stunt kites are exciting and fun and a totally interactive kind of kite flying as you must continually steer the kite to keep it in the air.
We also carry a wide variety of,windsocks, wind spinners and whirligigs.And more importantly, we actually have the items in stock for immediate shipment, unless you request a customized item.
